Starstruck

Nov 01

We‘ve taken Miss COCO to China, attended another fabulous good food show, went to the women of the year lunch , joined Andrew Fairlie for a stage in his kitchen .

We were lucky enough to meet the stunning Lulu who is desperate to try our chocs, Ruby Wax, Lorraine Kelly, Baroness Kennedy and a 106 year old suffragette!

Miss COCO has now formed a great relationship with the delicious Equis ice cream who have made a stunning Miss COCO gelato- pop into their Hamilton shop and try ‘Miss COCOs intense chocolate gelato infused with lemongrass and fresh orange’ (BTW gelato means low fat, not that we care). We showcased the Gelato at the BBC good food show and it went down a treat!

Our stand meant that we brushed shoulders with lots of celebs at the Good Food show- grumpy Greg Wallace has gone down in our estimations through! Who could refuse Miss COCO chocolates, thats the last time we watch masterchef.

I was lucky enough to spend two days with Andrew Fairlies smooth talking french patisserie chef, Gerard making macarons, marshmallows, soufflés and of course chocolates! An absolutely fantastic experience thanks so much to everyone who helped me. An amazing team of staff.

Good luck to our good friend and honorary COCO girl Alize Mounter, the current Miss England who is currently competing at Miss World- good luck Alize.

COCO girl, Amanda has now taken charge of our twitter so there may actually be some updates now haha, follow us at http://twitter.com/#!/MissCOC0

The Corinthian are showcasing our range and will soon be doing Miss COCO parties- any excuse to party there!

Lots of new and bespoke cakes and designs- email for details

Easter's on its way...

Apr 05

Things are really getting exciting at Miss COCO headquarters! In the last week month we have won two more awards- Best Product SIE New Ventures Award and NACUE Leisure, Hospitality and Services Award! We picked up our Scottish Institute of Entrepreneurs award at the Royal Concert Hall in front of Sir Tom Hunter, Gillian O’Neill at moviecom.tv and the wonderful Joanne McLeod from Brewhaha to name but a few, and even enjoyed a few wines at 29 afterwards. The overall finalist of NACUE has yet to be decided at the British library on May 10th- not that we are nervous!

We think this is pretty good going, but to bring us back down from our Katy Perry cloud our factory front door fell off yesterday and we nearly had to sleep in the factory over night to protect our delicious chocolates. Eek!

Back down to the nitty gritty and importantly chocolate!! We have lost of new Easter products on our website including our delicious Easter bunny- nearly too cute to eat (we said nearly).

We will once again be attending the Girls Day Out 6-8 May and the Ideal Home Show 26-29 May both at the SECC. And are also taking part in a Royal Hen Party at the Corinthian- more details to follow- we’ll let you know what Kate’s wearing!

Thanks to Gregg McClymont and Cathie Craigie for popping down to the Miss COCO factory and getting their very own tasting!
